I'm adding green to my great room color scheme. It already has a little red and a little plum. I was beginning to love the jewel tones, but then I began comparing it to the Red Hat Ladies. So in went pops of lime green. I got a throw, a few vases and some throw pillows. One of the pillows I purchased was velvet and too plain for my taste.

That is so funny! I used to love red and purple together-even decorated my Christmas tree in that combo a couple years ago. Then I stood back and pictured my mom in her Red Hatter ensemble and totally cringed! Love the idea of adding the green-gorgeous!
